With further reference to your letter of the 10th April and previous correspondence relative to 30 bales of copra sacks forwarded to Hong Kong before the war by Mesers. F. Rosenstern and Company, I am directed by the Board of Trade to state that in view of the ultimate destination of the goods mentioned in your letter of the 4th March, His Majesty's Government are unable to sanction the course of action suggested by you without the previous consent of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia.
